Our history
Mr. Paul fell in love with the Empuriabrava marina and turned his ideas into a business in 2006. Together with his daughter Sandra, and his family, they bought Thalassa Boat so that visitors could enjoy the luxury of renting villa plus boat, without worrying about anything. They came with no technical knowledge and so it was quite an odyssey. With a notebook in hand and a smile.
With curiosity, dedication and passion they made the business grow, keeping a close relationship with suppliers and customers. Over the years the fleet was renewed, the terrace was made bigger, the master table arrived from Morocco, the office was modernized and, among other things, the wood of the dock was changed.
Thalassa
Paul’s granddaughter, Ophelie, a young entrepreneur with a clear vision and passion for her business, decided to embark on a new business venture. Ophelie as a child helped her uncle with the maintenance and repairs of the boats, later she joined the commercial and booking team within Thalassa Boat. In this adventure, she joined forces with Xavier and Josep, two experts in the nautical sector with more than 20 years of experience. Together, they form a solid and committed team, with the aim of offering high quality services in all aspects of boating.
Xavier and Josep are great professionals in the sector, and each of them successfully manage different companies within the nautical world. Their experience in charter, sale and repair of boats has allowed them to consolidate as a reference in the industry. Their knowledge and dedication over the years guarantee an exceptional service and personalized attention to each client.
With this union, our goal is to provide all sea lovers a unique experience, with the security of having the support of a team with the experience, knowledge and passion necessary to make the best day of boat rental in Empuriabrava a reality.

Varied fleet
It has a varied fleet, you can choose the type of hull and with inboard or outboard engine. We are one of the few with inboards up to 300 hp. We ensure a first class mechanical maintenance and a thorough cleaning before delivering a boat.

Our location is key if you hesitate to choose us. We are located 3 minutes from the exit to the sea, and in the center of Empuriabrava, with a supermarket 2 minutes away and free parking in front of our offices.
